Posted by Marian Austin on 11/6/2005, 8:01 am Is anyone out there interested in a horse van? I'm just not using it to haul my girls around as much as I thought I would and I hate to let it sit. 1972 International Loadstar 1600 with Imperatore 3/4 Horse Box, 97,000 miles, manual transmission, 2 speed rear axle (new motor), new tires, almost all service records, original owner's manual. Has storage peak over cab and fold down storage platform across rear. Pristine rubber/wood lined interior with four drain holes, two oscillating fans, lights and speaker (horses can listen to the radio or stereo). Headroom is amazing...try over 8 feet inside. Four windows with bars for safety. Ramp is rubber lined and can be used on either side. Two wood dividers, two metal and one wooden horizontal dividers to create a seemingly endless variety of interior configurations. Frank Imperatore is still in business in PA making horse boxes. Frank di Bella (PA) sells/services/restores horse vans for top dollar. If you have been looking for one, take a look at this one, she's an oldie but starts every time no matter how cold it is outside. Engine runs beautifully, she's well tuned and ready to go. Thanks!

Hey group,
Horse loading options include:
1.) Three light horses abreast facing backwards with fourth horse across the back.
2.) Two draft horses abreast facing backwards with third light or draft youngster in back or room for tons of tack.
3.) Two draft horses in box stalls.
4.) Awesome moving van with all dividers removed.
If you are interested or know anyone who might be, please let me know...MarianCAustin@fuse.net or 513-238-4747
Marian
