Sporting goods equipment needed Posted by Shane Nelson on 9/9/2009, 4:03 pm 68.155.252.222 For the ones that do not know me I'm the coach of Right Touch Interiors/SWS (formerly DDS) I went on a missions trip last week with my church to Nicaragua. It was a humbling experience and we met a guy that has started a sports outreach ministry for the kids in that village. They play baseball and soccer. I'm looking for anyone that can help with donating baseballs,soccer balls,old ball gloves, wooden bats, old cleats any size for kids from ages 8-15. We met some of the kids and they were playing with old baseballs that were so dirty once it was hit you couldn't see it. We almost got hit with a linedrive because we couldn't see the ball. This sports outreach program helps to keep these kids out of trouble and away from the drug population. There's been several kids come to accept Christ through this program.
