Pros= It's for a good cause
Great raffle and prize give-aways
The consconcessions had good burgers, hot dogs, snacks, and drinks
Mostly good teams.
Cons= Poorly managed tournament overall
Claims to be a NSA rules, but wasn't!
The post said 40/400 balls, teams were allowed to use whatever balls they want
Allowed to use cooked bats.
Umpire left one game
Local favoritism
A few bad teams allowed to continue to play (tring to hit the pitcher every time at the plate)
Teams got first round byes (non-seeded tournament)
In my opinion the tournament could have been great but needed major work. Don't call it NSA rules, call it what it is: an outlaw tournament. If they get the problems worked out they could have a 20 team turnout. But if it keeps getting a bad "rap" then you will get fewer and fewer teams.
