Pump It Up
Answering the needs of high-performance anglers on the kingfish circuit, Rule has developed two new Tournament Series livewell pumps that are virtually indestructible. One has a brass base to connect directly to a seacock, and the other has a reinforced fiberglass base with an extra outlet for a washdown pump. Both deliver 1,600 gph—the highest volume of any centrifugal pump on the market. Designed to eliminate air locks, these pumps are remarkably smooth and quiet. The capacity of the dual port pump is not impeded by its washdown connection. Able to take a beating at 60 mph, these pumps will deliver more than enough water to keep bait alive in the most severe conditions. The single-outlet Tournament Series pump sells for $139; the dual-outlet costs $135. Rule Industries, (978) 281-0440. www.rule-industries.com.
