Tough fishing conditions Saturday with the high barometer and a cold Northwest wind. Nine hours on the water and not a single fish, only one striper run but did not hook up..Sunday was a much better day weather wise but no fish. Bait was readily available at Marina cove. Fished the Bluestone area in the morning . Marked lots of bait but no stripers. Moved down to the Goat Island area mid morning. The lake was slick as glass and much clearer water but no fish. Marked very little bait and no stripers. The water temp was 65 at Goat island but in the 59-60 degree range up at Bluestone. In the afternoon I was fishing under the new bridge when small stripers started busting the surface. I caught 4 undersized stripers on a Rattle Trap but that was it. 19 hours on the water Saturday and Sunday and nothing in the fry pan. I am guessing it is still too early based on the water temps. Could be a few weeks away or it could change at any time. That's fishing. Hope this is report helps. Bluefish
