Fished out of Palmers Point on Sun. at first lite. Gars are still stealing shad and killing bait meant for stripers. Water consistent 77-78* thru-out area with thermocline still present @ 35-38'. Raised a 20# blue cat that was around bait 40' down-lining.
Mouth of Nutbush in cut-thru is tenuous with low water and only produced one fiesty LGmouth of about 3# that jumped multiple times.No striper hits whatsoever. Dreamstriper
