ALLTEL Stadium sits on the banks of the St. Johns River, which is one of the most beautiful boating destinations in Florida. With a shortage of hotel rooms and accommodations in Jacksonville for the game, city organizers have decided to take advantage of the city's premium access to the river and the Atlantic Ocean to welcome the world to the Super Bowl. Sports fans are being encouraged to arrive in their own boats and dock at a special temporary marina created just for the weekend, or stay in one of the five cruise ships that will dock near the stadium.
