My wife and I fished Sunday 4/19/09 launching out of Occoneechee. I caught bait in Sandy Creek but the bait is still not as abundant as in the past for this time of year. We did more house hunting for summer vacation instead of fishing but managed one throw back striper and a large catfish. Highest water temp 62.5 deg with mostly stained to muddy water above the bridges in Clarksville. Water clears up pretty good below the bridges and in the creeks. There is still some large debris in the lake that will do a lot of boat damage if you're not paying attention.
