your Striped Bass Stamp funds and Bay Delta Sportfishing Enhancement Stamp Funds.
The idea for this study started many years ago on the Striped bass Stamp Fund committee when we first saw the speeding train-wreck called the destruction of our fisheries roaring down the tracks straight at us.
Because we could not spend the money on producing more striped bass in the system due to the Feds terminating the Section 10 permit to do so, the Committee thought it we be a good expenditure of the funds to get an accurate and up-to-date analysis of what our fisheries were worth to the State's economy.
Our thinking was we could use the info to counter the water thieves statements about what Corporate AG contributes (never mentioning the tremendous taxpayer subsidies, by the way).
We were unable to get the study done in a timely manor because of the Governor and DFG foot dragging ....So here it is finally happening, and years to late too do much good!
I second what Dave says the $50.00 would be best spent donating it to CSPA
