What a great day to be out on the Delta! The weather was perfect! The only thing missing was the million boats. No one expected to see a million boats on the water but it was embarrassing when there was never over 40 at any given time and for the vast majority of the time it was 15 or less. Have we given up? Where was everyone? Where are the yacht clubs? Where were the ski boaters? Where were the fisherman? Where were the folks that live in the Delta? I just don't understand the apathy. We passed boat after boat going the other way and only a hand full would join us. With participation like this we will get nowhere in Sacramento.
Thanks to the Sportsmens Yacht Club for their efforts.
