lschardt,show me where TID did a study on striped bass eating salmon!i live in waterford and was a member of the san joaquin river and trib comm [and still could be]and there was no striper stomachs pumped in the tuolumne or merced rivers.
the biggest problem on salmon is raising water levels,fish move in,water level is dropped,eggs dry and die.spring,water warms to 75deg and as high as 85 and smolt holdovers die.The biggest predatod on salmon and steelhead other than water is squawfish.give me a call 209-874-9761..red
