Striped Bass Tagging: Results of Week 5

Hi all, We just finished the fifth week of tagging striped bass. As usual, we captured fish in fyke traps out of Knights Landing and drifting gill nets out of Antioch. In 39 trap-days (i.e., 10 traps fishing 3 days; 9 traps fishing 1 day) we captured about 60legal-sized and about 16 sublegal-sized striped bass. I didn't get a bycatch report. In 40 gill-net sets (each about 30 minutes) we captured about 304 legal-sized and about 47 sublegal-sized striped bass. I didn't get a bycatch report. Like the last 4 weeks it's still pretty slow.
