Three from Stockton Chapter attended last nights meeting and as Captain Cox stated, there was much distrust from the audience of approximately 120 people.
All of the speakers were in opposition to the plan, especially the conveyance section.
When questioned, the presenters said that the water users would pay for the project. They were then asked what the water users would expect in return, and did not get a complete answer.
Most of the speakers said that decision has already been made to go ahead with the plan, and that these meeting were only a formality. John B
