Bay Delta Conservation Plan EIR/EIS
Public Scoping Meetings
YOU ARE INVITED to attend an Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) scoping meeting
to provide input to the environmental review of the Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP). Lead agencies for the EIR/
EIS are the California Department of Water Resources, the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and
NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service, in cooperation with the California Department of Fish and Game, the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The meeting is designed to solicit comments from the
public, agencies and Tribes that will assist the lead agencies in focusing the content and analytical methods for the EIR/EIS,
identify issues of concern, potential alternatives, and sources of information. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to
discuss the status of the BDCP. The open house format will allow you to visit individual issue-focused stations and recorder
stations to submit your comments. You may also take a comment form home and mail in your comments before May14, 2009.
The open house format allows you to attend at your convenience during the allotted meeting times.
