AB 1806, the delta restoration and mitigation bill has cleared the Senate Appropriatons Committee and is headed for a floor vote some time next week. If this bill passes, it means millions of dollars in mitigation for losses of fish killed in the pumping process.
The water vendor lobbyists are working overtime to kill this bill. We need every letter we can get in support of this bill.
Please log onto the CSPA website's AB1806 Action Alert, read the alert and write the letters asked. Since time is so critical, please alert your fishing friends and have them write as well.
