Where were all the CSBA members today to show support for this bill that is designed to put fish back in the Delta?
Our organization has 1,000 members, 00.40% showed up today (all from West Delta) at the Senate Committe hearing on AB 1806. Let's all slap ourselves on the back!
I invite all members to look at the HISTORY link on this website. This is what we are supposed to be about.
Do we or don't we want to make a difference?
I have been a member of the West Delta Chapter for almost 20 years, been on the Board for 15 and now I am about ready to throw the towel in like the other 996 members. This fight cannot be fought by a few, it is either all or nothing. What happened to all the Jay Sorensons,
John Banks, Whitey's and everyone else that formed this organization in 1974?
I guess everyone wants to have a social organization to party and have fun. Well, HELLO, out there, our fun is based on a healthy Striped Bass population and Delta!
I am not ready to throw in the towel but CSBA doesn't seem to have the members with enough gumption to do anything about what we are all about.
I will continue to fight the fight with our without CSBA support, but I may very well end my long term relationship with this organization. It will certainly give me more time to do what I think is important.
Disappointingly Yours,
Roger Mammon
