Someone in DFG has put out a budget spending proposal of $986K for this year, as yet no one knows what this money is for. The Stamp Committee has told DFG that no matter how much is spent, it needs to be spent on things that are consistent with the language in the stamp legislation.
We will need a detailed budget to look at before the funds are spent.
We also told them that we need to have a stamp committee meeting very soon, before the budget is finalized! Like the end of this month or sometime in May. Rest assured we are watching our money and if any thing out of the ordinary happens we will ask the State legislative auditors for an audit of the account!!
