Mike McKenzie spoke to the West Delta chapters board of directors meeting tonight, 2/21. He basicly outlined the same information presented last night to the State Board of Directors. After confering with the lawyer involved for CSPA Mike said that the time factor to file the paperwork as to who would be the named intervieners was a little less critical, but still in a 4 week time frame. So as not to have any problems getting CSBA's name on the lawsuit defense our chapter voted unanimously to make a $1,000. donation to the legal defense fund. I am very proud of the fact that West Delta has the opportunity to get this ball rolling. I sincerely hope that the other 4 main chapters will follow up with donations as well. This is a direct attack on the very fish we have spent 34 years trying to protect. I cannot think of a more worthy issue for this club to be involved in!!!
