Posted by Gary Adams The State Board Meets on this Wednesday at Perko's restaurant. We will be having NRDC as guest with a team member of the San Joaquine Settlement. The reason that I am announcing this message is that we have had a large number of our members supporting this effort for many years. Their have and continue to be a number of detractors even though we have an agreement with all major parties to the suit signing on to a agreement. Their was the neccesity to negotiate with third parties that were not a part of the litigation in order secure assurances for these that they will suffer no harm in the agreement. I'm sure that all of you have read various articles on the settlement in your news papers. Unfortunately there are times when some of the news that goes out is exagerated or filled with half truths. This is why I am requesting that all Presidents and their reps. show. Thanks, Gary
