Winter will be upon us soon and Vicki and I took some clothes, from Lodi Chapter, to TLC this past week. The administrator asked that we please put out the call for warm childrens clothes. Jackets, coats and sweaters are badly needed. Some of these children show up without even shoes to wear. Please, if you have any used childrens clothes that you would like to donate, you can send them with your State Board Rep to the State Board meeting and Vicki and I will deliver them to TLC. Stockton and Lodi Chapters have long been supporters of the Transitional Learning Center (TLC) in Stockton.
For those that don,t know, You cannot register your child in School if you do not have a verifiable address. This means that homeless children can't go to public schools.
