We keep some striper but big striper is not good to eat. big sturgon is good to eat so why not keep big sturgon. Why not supoport keeping big sturgon. I dont want striper to be like sturgon where F&G suddenly makes it impossibly to keep legal striper. If we all keep small striper and let big ones go then we can keep a good fishery. I hope your not one who just wants to show off your big striper. You can take a picture and let it go. That is what i teach my children.

I read with great interstt the statement about striper trophy fish. I believe fisherman have good chance to catch trophy for sturgeon salmon and striper. I caught sturgon over 80# last year. and also took legal sturgeon but only 1.
