We can't keep coastal steelhead, but there's a vibrant C&R Fishery... I wouldn't want to keep a big breeder, but I'm unsure about whether the regulation is necessary at this time. There's a lot of bad news on the delta water conditions, and the feds won't let us have a hatchery. Maybe something needs to be done to preserve the fishery? Just askin' Jim Martin

Does a trophy mean you have to keep the fish? I would think everyman would have a better chance of catching that big fish if there was a slot limit, right?
