By the way the committee has received spending authorization for 1.5 million from the Dept. of Finance and they have a little over 4 million in their account. At their next meeting they going to review proposals for spending. Their next meeting is scheduled for September 27th at the same place but they may call for an earlier meeting.

I attended the last Bay Delta Stamp Advisory meeting at the Yolo Bypass Center in Davis last Wednesday. Among the guests was the Deputy Director of Fish Game. He stated the Dept of Fish Game has proposed the following to the the Fish and Game Commission for 2007 regulations:
2. limit 3 per year
3. a report card and tagging system, similar to that for abalone will be implemented. The cost yet to determined.
