2006 Shark Derby
Date: July 22, 2006
Time: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Weigh-In: Launch Ramp from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (Derby weigh-in ends at 2:00 PM SHARP!)
Where: Emeryville Marina, Powell Road off Hwy. I-80
Take the Emeryville exit to Powell Street, go west until you see the parking lot and launch ramp.

1. Violation of any derby rules will result in automatic disqualification. Judges' decisions are final.
2. Derby participants must conform to all applicable state sport fishing regulations.
3. All sharks must be gutted before being brought to shore for measuring.
4. Only one shark may be entered per angler.
5. ENTRY FEE OF $15 PER FISHERMAN MUST BE PAID BY WEDNESDAY, JULY 19, 2006.
$10 for the Shark Derby and $5.00 for the Fish Fry Picnic at the Presidens's Ranch see details in the July's newsletter.
6. All winners will be determined by overall length of fish. In case of a tie, winners will be determined by a coin toss.
7. All entrants must be present at the Emeryville Marina (near the launch ramp) before 2:00 PM. (Weigh-In is between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.) Weigh-in ends at 2:00 PM. No exceptions! Winners will be announced after the end of the derby.
8. Anglers may fish anywhere in the Bay.
Pay back is based on $10.00 of the entry fee. Prize money will be shared among the four longest fish. 1st place 40%; 2nd place 30%; 3rd place 20% and 4th place 10%. Ties will be decided by coin toss.

Make sure you register by July 19th. Make all checks payable to C.S.B.A. Shark Derby, THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION THE MORNING OF THE DERBY AT THE EMERYVILLE MARINA!
