I have been reading articles about the trends convienence stores have seen in cigarette sales after the SCHIP tax earler this year.
Most stores say:
Sales are steady but carton sales are down in favor of packs.
Premium brand sales are down in favor of second tier and cheaper brands. The one premium brand that is not seeing any sales decline is Newport.
