My friend Brooke gave birth last week to a beautiful baby girl named Allison and now six days later, Brooke went back to smoking. As soon as she found out she ws pregnant, Brook quit cold turkey, but immediately said that she plans on going back to smoking once her baby was born.
I commend her for quitting while pregnant, but I also commend her for going back since it was her choice and she loves to smoke. Plus her husband's a smoker and backs her up 100 percent.
When I get pregnant, I have the same plan, even though I know it won't be easy, and like Brooke, I plan on going back to smoking. Brooke said that it was never easy the entire time she was pregnant, she always had cravings but obviously did the right thing. Yesterday she sent her husband out for a carton of Marlboro Light 100's and has no hesitation at all, and I don't blame her!
