Here's a comprehensive ban proposal that just emerged, and interestingly on the heels of Topeka passing a comprehensive ban. (and just proves how disingenuous ban lobbyists are by going from community to community) I am hoping that bar owners, and owners of other adult-oriented businesses in Indianapolis are ready to fight this proposal. And for the love of god, why doesn't Mo and Johnny's(referenced in the WTHR video below) go smoke-free throughout already(!), if he feels changing his business to being a non-smoking establishment would be better for his business?
Brief primer about Indianapolis' existing smoking ban: it exempts any businesses that prohibit minors under 18 from entering, bowling alleys and bars from the ban. This ban would even go as far to prohibit smoking IN tobacco shops and hookah bars, and something should be done to fight it. Angela Mansfield(2nd District) and Benjamin Hunter(21st District) are the 2 authors on the Indy city council authoring this new ordinance, and here are more details on it:

Here's the website for all Indianapolis/Marion County(both Indianapolis and Marion County governments have been merged into one government, although there are 3 independent communities within Marion County w/their own municipal government) councilors:
