Hello Hubby,
I don't know that much about Eve,... at least, not that much about the cigarette itself. I'm pretty sure I've never smoked an Eve before.
However, this Wikipedia article gives a short history...
Eve (cigarette)
I don't think(!) Eves have been advertised since the mid-1990s, and they certainly had some good ads during the 70s and 80s. But no, IMHO, Eve never had as many good ads as Virginia Slims... or, later, Misty and Capri.
Although I did smoke Misty, Capri, and Virginia Slims all for a substantive period of time... Virginia Slims for a couple years, at least, and Misty for several years, and Capri probably less than a year. I think I fell more in love with Misty, which pulled me away from Capri.
(I know... when I talk about cigarette brands in this way, it seems very odd to most people. However, most of you are aware of my pretty much lifelong intimate relationship with the cigarette ads... and given that knowledge, I don't think it's so hard to understand. Well,... I think everyone here, at least, understands about as well as another human being could...)
But no, I don't think I ever smoked an Eve. Perhaps they never really advertised Eve for long enough... well, with really good ads... such that I fell strongly enough in love with Eve for me to start smoking Eve.
Also, Eve's best advertising was probably over before I'd ever have smoked a woman's brand of cigarette publicly. Today, I probably wouldn't smoke a woman's brand publicly either, but that's different... I have been there, and done that. (I don't want to go into this here and now, it's too involved.)
I do have much positive affinity for Eve, but no where near as much as I have for Virginia Slims, Misty and Capri.
Actually, I'm a little surprised you know much about Eve... unless you're middle-aged, or older... because, as I indicated, I don't think Eve's done much good, sustained, advertising in a while.
Take care,
