Here's my take..

Are there three conflicting origins (to some degree) or only two? However many there are, I'd say the Sentries of three (or however many) alternate Earths were forced to work together against a threat to the multiverse and each one of them had a slightly variant origin. In the big climax, the Sentries were fused into one and tossed into the 616. So powerful was the tri-Sentry at first that he was able to alter the 616 a bit so his past somewhat fit now where there had been no Sentry before.
