Would you retcon the Sentry? Heres my take..

Given his recent fluctuations in power, I'd "reveal" Project: Sentry as a classified covert gov. operation involving several top secret satellites in space drawing power from the sun/surrounding stars ("power of a million suns") that power-up Reynolds when he transforms into the Sentry. The "super soldier serum" was merely an elixir of chemicals/nanobots allowing his body to become a receptacle for the downlink energy. The Project was a failure since Reynolds eventually went mad from the constant bombardment of radiation thereby becoming a global threat. The covert agency then pulled the plug on Project:Sentry and manipulated the Sentry into eliminating all traces of the Project. Years later the satellites once again start to ebb with the empyrean fires of the universe and the Sentry returns. Question is, who did it? Who on earth still had knowledge of the project? This of course would be revealed in "Secret Invasion".

This was my response, on the Battleboard, to a post about what retcons and changes you'd like to make in comics and figured I'd share it here as well since it involves the controversial Golden Boy himself. Just throwin it out there.
