Bendis actually indicated that Sentry suffered from agoraphobia a while back in New Avengers, so that wasn't so completely out of left field.
I think what's going to happen is that we're going to find that Sentry's calming affect only works on the "savage" Hulk ... not the "Green Scar" ... and thus the Hulk's ability to fight him. I also think the Sentry will job to the Hulk like everyone else, since the premise of the series simply seems to be "Hulk's the strongest one there is".
I had high hopes for this series, but have to confess that it feels like a bit of a let down.
