They've put a lot of time and effort into pushing him as a major new character, and building him up in World War Hulk as the Alpha-level threat he deserves to be. To kill him now would waste the HUGE potential for stories. I also think if they brought back the Void and had the Hulk defeat the Void it would be a pretty empty ending - surely Hulk would still then want to smash everyone else? He wouldn't be truly redeemed. I like the idea of the Sentry defeating the Hulk and then the Void is unleashed, but then the end of World War Hulk would either have to lead into another event (World War Void??) or end with a big fight against the Void, which would be really odd and pretty much invalidate the whole series. I guess I'm not sure what I want. A full-on Sentry vs. Hulk fight would be great, but I'm just not sure who should win and what should happen. Well, that's the fun of reading comics I suppose!! AJ

: I actually thought that if/when Sentry saves
: the World from the Hulk, that will be the
: breaking point and the Void will return to
: balance the Sentry's good deed with total
: destruction. Something like that. Although I
: like your idea too
:
: My only fear is that it's going to entail:
:
: 1) Sentry's death
:
: or 2) some sort of explanation which
: indicates that the Sentry/Void was the one
: who messed with Hulks spaceship, tampered
: with the warp drive, replaced Iron Man's
: spike so that it didn't have nanites in it
: (Avengers: Initiative 4 indicates this),
: etc. I'm going to be bummed if they try to
: say that Bob's been bad ever since the end
: of his last mini, but simply hiding it.
