[SPOILERS] From Tom Brevoort: http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=4436377&postcount=1713 Actually, in the original planning, there was a scene in which the Sentry confronted Cap, and Cap reduced him to a quivvering mound of jello psychologically, but there wasn't enough space to show this in the actual book, so it was one of the first beats we had to jettison. I think that this would have been interesting if it could have been fit into the book. I would like to see a flashback in a later book showing this happen. --Previous Message--

I would have liked to see how Cap would plan on doing this, but since it wasn't in the book, I guess it didn't happen.

: There is also that whole world war hulk

: coming up
:
: MAYBE SPOILER SPACE........

: Yeah, see this is the thing...first of all,
: where was the Sentry in the final issue of
: CIVIL WAR? Except for the one panel at the
: end, showing Iron Man introducing the Mighty
: Avengers, I don't think I saw him in the
: actual battle.
:
: My point is, as much as I like the Sentry,
: he's sort of problematic in the sense that
: he's so powerful, you literally have to
: leave him out of certain things and hope no
: one will notice. Because if he was there,
: he'd be able to end things almost
: immediately.
:
: Which brings me to the upcoming WORLD WAR
: HULK series. Sentry's mere presence reduces
: the Hulk to an infantile state. So what's
: going to happen to Sentry in that storyline?
: He's also powerful enough to defeat the
: Hulk.
:
: So what do you think will happen?
