There were plans for Sentry in Civil War...

Actually, in the original planning, there was a scene in which the Sentry confronted Cap, and Cap reduced him to a quivvering mound of jello psychologically, but there wasn't enough space to show this in the actual book, so it was one of the first beats we had to jettison.
I think that this would have been interesting if it could have been fit into the book. I would like to see a flashback in a later book showing this happen.

I would have liked to see how Cap would plan on doing this, but since it wasn't in the book, I guess it didn't happen.
