For the past few issues, Wolverine has been tracking down Nitro, the guy responsible the Stamford disaster.
It's revealed that Nitro has been taking MGH. (Mutant Growth Hormone)A drug which increases superhuman abilities.
Wolverine finds out that Nitro got the drug from Damage Control, the company that cleans up after superhero/villain battles. They've been giving the drug to supervillains so to increase their powers, and thus make the battles more destructive, and thus makes more money for Damage Control.
Wolverine goes to find the bosses at Damage Control and then comes across another revelation, Damage Control has been salvaging tech and weapons from superhero/villain battles and keeping it for themselves. (And perhaps selling it for profit)
I don't know what's going to happen in the next issue, but events in it leads Wolverine to SHIELD, and a big battle breaks out, and SHIELD calls in Sentry to take Wolverine down.
