Bendis has been doing some interesting things with the agoraphobia aspect in New Avengers as we saw him damn near attached to his bed. i though it made the story some what longer and I really wantd to see The Sentry launch a brawl with the Collective, i respect the thought of Bendis in saying that this character is prehaps the most powerful person in existance and yet he's handicaped by his own fear. "Decompressing" as it is referred to I think improves the story giving it more depth than to say that there's really no need for these other heroes because the Sentry can just fly off and kick anythings ass in a heartbest. Which is why I sorta look at the new avengers as being a great team and a great way for the Sentry to grow back into the marvel universe the way he did back in Startling Stories.
: I think the new mini explored his mental
: illness in depth.
:
: I hope that if he gets an ongoing series
: that it won't be as story driven and
: "decrompressed" as the mini and
: will focus more on fighting villians and
: preforming act of heroics.

: is a tough costumer, but his mental illness
: is
: the real character.
:
: Should someone explore real mental illness
: issues?
:
: Or should they just keep that light and
: focus on the heroics?
