Okay,
So can we finally admit that this mini series had NOTHING TO DO with the original concept as presented a few years ago in the first? I loved that series and was excited when Bendis brought the Sentry into New Avengers. But Bendis' Sentry clearly had similarties to the original but rebooted why no one remembered who he is. I thought at least Jenkins would stick to the original origin in this second mini, but from reading all sorts of reviews, including those here, and flipping through the issue, it's clear he hasn't. For the life of me I can't figure out why nobody has commented on this. I'm not saying call Jenkins out or anything. If the second mini stands as a decent read, fine. But it just strikes me as odd that the reboot of a character introduced only a few years ago has never even been brought up. In fact I've read some posts by fans who have been hoping this would all make sense in the end and tie into the original mini.
