I'm so confused [SPOILERS]

I just got done reading Sentry #8. Can someone possibly explain this to me? Did we find out anything we didnt know already? I feel like I knew everything discussed in this issue already. It seems like it was covered in the first mini or earlier in this series.
Basically, I was pretty disapointed in the big clifhanger ending. Maybe I was missing something though, so please.....explain it to me.
