I have had way to much free time on my hands lately... and saw a picture on FaceBook of both sidings at Osmer full of hoppers. I thought to myself, why there? How did Osmer become the interchange point between now AA and GLC? At one point there was a yard in AA, that would make sense for an interchange or maybe Durand? I think AA interchanged with GTW in Owosso not Durand, but either one could have worked for two roads working a single mainline. How did Osmer become their interchange?
