I'm not sure of the exact term for this type of train warning box that I have seen near 12th street in port Huron near where the line from Croswell curved around the back of the current moving van place near 12th and then headed east next to the chicken in the rough and crossed the main rd. I remeber T?J? gaff Ney mentioning the alert box about 15 years ago or so on here and I went and found it once. Does anyone have any pics of this train alert box or whatever it's called near 12th street where the tracks used to go down the center of the rd. In port Huron ? How was this box activated was there just a button on it a cinductor pressed or was it triggered by electricity thry the rails like modern signal flashers? Any info or pics greatly appreciated.
