I lived in Sault Ste Marie from 1976-1984 and traveled often. I did see gondolas for pulpwood loading at Dollarville and also at sidings along the Seney stretch. In Moran there was a sawmill along the tracks but I never saw any cars there.
I once saw 5 boxcars in Rexford (just west of Raco) being loaded with wood chips. That was in the late 70's and shortly after that they removed the rails.
I have a friend who was on vacation in the early 60's and asked the McMillan agent what else they shipped besides pulpwood. The agent told him he couldn't remember anything other than pulpwood going out of McMillan,
