St Ignace customers

I recall two regular customers at least into the mid 70's. Both were on the north end of downtown St. Ignace. On the north side of Business highway 2 behind the Driftwood Inn, between Glashaw Street, and Reagon Street, there was a lumber yard that used rail, and the spur continued northeast across highway #2 behind the San Motel, and went into an area that is now Shepplers. Tank cars of diesel fuel was delivered there. As to when these customers stopped using rail, I can't answer that. The track across business highway 2 was still in tack in the 80's.
