Some years ago, on this forum, I posted copies of each page of my Feb. 1934 Michigan Rail Guide. According to its cover it was: "Corrected and managed by John R. Wood, the Original Railway Guide Publisher. 170 East Larned St., Detroit, Michigan. 20 cents a copy. $1.75 per year. $2.00 for Detroit residents.(?).
I have no clue ..these days .. how to post photos here. Otherwise I'd repeat it for those interested. The entire guide is still on my Flickr. Bought it at the old Owen Davies bookstore in Chicago for $1.50 in late 50s. Priceless trove of MI rail history on every one of its 62 pages. Reminds one that trains were dependent on and depended on by business travelers back then as that's who the guide was obviously geared to. Includes many hotel listings for most major MI cities.
