At one time Livernois yard was called Junction yards. The yard is was/is a bunch of yards. Advanced departure, south receiving, west bound class yard, stock yard, east bound class, north bound class and the industrial . If I'am not mistaken it has been referred to as West Detroit yard also. And 2013 was the 100th Anniversary of Livernois yard.
