Southern ran an autoparts train down the Rathole called The SparkPlug and I will assume that many of the cars came off the GT/DT&I and even Chessie in Cinnci along with a unit of power or two in the 60's and 70's. I will also assume there was a northbound empties too. Doraville was a big GM facility around Atlanta back then. I believe that is where the cars ended up for the most part. Didn't Ford also have a plant down there back then?
