Hey, the guy in the sixth picture showing water being added to the tender is me. I was the fireman for the 1969 season and the grade uphill back to Calumet kept me especially busy on the return trip. On the run-around move at Lake Linden while Clint ran the 44-tonner I got to back the #29 out of the siding and then ahead to couple on to the relocated cars. What a thrill every time! We didn't need to add water every trip but would usually stop so passengers could take pictures of the process. Also there was a sugar plum bush right there that make for great snacking when they were ripe.
