By 1970 the building Graydon recalls was either gone or had been moved to the south side of the tracks. The reason the flagman didn't catch the way car and ride it into the yard was that crossing into the yard involved throwing four switches and then walking back to the main line crossover to restore the bolt lock which in this case was a five or so foot long lever that moved pipe linkage to lock the switch points since it was a facing point one.
