Re: Durand to Owosso with GTW and AA, pre-1970
The Ann Arbor crossed the GTW Holly Sub just south of the depot and paralleled the Holly Sub along the west (south) side to a point near where Pitt is now located, where the AA curved and headed straight south toward Byron. The Ann Arbor also had their own agent/train order office (depot) up north of Main St and it was known as York in the timetable. I've always been curious how that name came about. I went in there once, and the walls were covered with AA photos!
