PC-NYC operations in Vassar, and to Reese and Caro

Now that we're talking about the old MCRR Mackinaw Branch I've got another question for Charlie (and Co.). Before the PC gave this up (to TSBY and the scrappers) can anyone shed some light on how the NYC and Penn Central operated out of Vassar? Was there a local based out of the Vassar yard to service Reese-Munger and the Caro branch? If so, where was the crew and power based out of - and stored between runs? Also, how did these locals interact/interchange with the "mainline" runs between Wenona yard, Saginaw and Detroit - as well as the two C&O interchanges? I'm also asking about current HESR operations on the other, "current-day" Lower Michigan RR board. Reason being is I'm chewing on shoehorning Vassar to Reese and Caro into an HO scale plan for my 13'x27' basement train room. I've been collecting photos and paper on this line for a number of years, and think I can get all three locations to comfortably fit my space with minimal compression. Thanks for all info and replies! Dan in Oxford
