Speaking of urban Shay's, Henry Ford had one. The unusual thing about this Shay, is that Henry didn't like the boiler being offset. It looked out of balance to him. So, he had his shops rebuild it, and put the boiler in the center of the frame. No real indication of how they got the loco balanced afterward, although the frame looks a little heavier on the left side than the right...
