The main RR was the NYC and GTW second. it was the biggest aggregates place in MI.
Locos: The red one that sat on the ramp by M24, for years, and a second identical one OOS.
Plus a Baldwin 100T center cab, and DUR freight cars, modified to be self powered.
GTW also serviced Keonig, east of Oxford. There was another huge one, SE of town serviced by both.
The AA site is now a Meijers. Both GT and PC ROWs are highly visible. GT=a trail.
Originally the GT line was the PO&N. This job was called the 'Gravel Run' or 'Mud Run'
pictures and text in the GTW books.
